Social Media Plugins
On our website, we use so-called social media plugins (“Plugins”) for the YouTube service.
YouTube is a service of Google Inc., San Bruno/California, USA. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our internet offer, the plugins are integrated into the site by means of the so-called “2-click Solution” from Heise online. This integration ensures that when you call up a page that contains such plugins, you are not connected to the servers of the respective providers. Only when you activate the plug-ins and thus give your consent for data transmission, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the enabled providers. The content of the respective plug-in is then transmitted directly to your browser by the corresponding provider and integrated into the page. By activating the plugins, the providers receive the information that their browser has called up the corresponding page, even if they do not have a profile with the respective provider or are not currently logged in to the service of the respective provider. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider, if necessary to the USA, and stored there.
If you are logged in to one of the services of the providers, the providers can directly assign the visit to our website to your profile/account of the respective provider. If you interact with the plugins, for example the “like” button, the “+1” button or the “tweet” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information is also published on the social network or on your social media account and is displayed in your contacts. The purpose of the data collection and the further processing of the data by the providers as well as your respective rights and settings for the protection of your privacy can be consulted in the data protection information of the providers:
If you do not want the providers to assign the data collected via our website directly to your profile/account in the respective service, you must log out of the corresponding service before activating the plugins.
To secure all data stored by us, we use technical security elements to protect your information from possible damage, loss and unauthorized access. The security measures are regularly updated and improved with the constant technical development.
Due to a restrictive allocation of access rights, your data transmitted to us are only accessible to the group of persons required for the fulfilment of the purpose.
[The visit to our website takes place via an encrypted SSL connection. This protects your activities from unauthorized access.]
You have a right to information regarding the personal data stored about you. In addition, you have the right to correct, restrict and delete data as well as to withdraw a previously granted consent. In addition, there is a right of appeal to a data protection supervisory authority.
You have the right to withdraw to the processing of personal data concerning you. If you withdraw, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we are legally obliged to do so or can prove compelling reasons for processing.
The assertion of all mentioned rights is basically free of charge for you and can be done in free form. Please contact the controller for exercising your rights at the address in the imprint. For further questions, please contact our data protection officer.
